Pros:
- Brand new Android interface from Motorola called Motorola Blur, which is focused on really cool social networking features, and an overall User Friendly(er) Interface. The Social Networking features are great because they WORK! This is by far one of the best Android implementations on the market to date and both Engadget and Gizmodo can not wait until there are new devices with this technology.
- Very nice Keyboard with a great feel and very nice click.
- 5 Megapixel Camera. And most photos look great!
Cons:
- Quoting Engadget about Keyboard "The biggest issue with the CLIQ's keyboard, though, is the placement of the spacebar, Alt, Symbol, Search, and back keys. Unlike the rest of the pad, that bottom row is concave rather than convex, meaning they're essentially buried beneath the edge of the device. We can't count the number of times we hit V instead of the spacebar -- just missing it outright due to its low clearance...he CLIQ also suffers from a spacebar that's no bigger than the special use keys around it."
- There are some issues with the camera focus, however, some firmware updates in the near future will be able to fix that.
- Battery is very typical and barely squeezed in a day. Quoting Engadget "The phone did not "give us a low battery warning," but actually shut down. Kaput."
- Not the best network says Engadget "the CLIQ essentially matched the myTouch and switched from 3G to EDGE (and back) in the same areas"
- Both Gizmodo and Engadget would agree to this quote "As for overall device performance, don't expect miracles."
From what I understand from both reviews, Gizmodo and Engadget would not buy this phone yet! However, when Motorola comes out with a new phone with MotoBLUR and is much faster, they would both agree that this phone is one of the best out there. For right now, in my opinion, I would wait and see what the new one will be. I would also recommend anyone on T-Mobile to try this out, if you need a new phone, look no further! But for those who want to wait ... Who knows? Maybe they'll fix the keyboard.
There you go!
