Apple Store down for updates, new iMac and more on the way? UPDATE
And here we go: the Apple Store is down, presumably to update it with all the new gear we're expecting today. New iMacs, plastic MacBooks, multitouch input peripherals, maybe a new Airport Express -- we could get everything, we could get nothing. You'll know as soon as we do.
Update: Kasper from AppleInsider just hit us with some last-minute leaked part numbers, which reveal a new iMac with a 21.5-inch display, some new mini configs including a server with two hard drives and no optical drive, new AirPort gear, and yes, a new 60W MacBook power supply. See? Dreams do come true. Oh, and that's apparently just part of the list, so we'll see what else happens when all this stuff actually hits.

Apple to introduce host of new machines, new multitouch input devices tomorrow?
We're not sure why John Gruber and Dan Lyons are having some sort of megalomaniacal Apple super-pundit standoff, but we'll sit here and take the spoils: Gruber's just one-upped Lyons's earlier vague tease of new Apple gear tomorrow with a pretty specific list of things he's apparently heard we'll see, including new iMacs and plastic MacBooks, revved Mac Minis (including one that runs OS X Server), a new multitouch "Magic Mouse" (ha!) and some sort of multitouch desktop trackpad accessory. That pretty much covers every rumor and vague whisper we've heard over the past few months, so it's actually a fairly conservative set of predictions, outside of that trackpad -- which itself may or may not be related to this multitouch input device patent from a couple weeks ago. We'll see what happens tomorrow morning -- at this point we're half expecting a tablet, a pony, and some sort of multitouch waffle maker as well.

In one line, what did Engadget say about the LG BL40
"The BL40 is just a pretty, shiny pretender that lacks the internal fortitude to challenge the incumbent market leaders."
And that's what Engadget Mobile said at the end of their review of the HIGHLY anticipated LG "Chocolate Touch" BL40.

The Engadget and Gizmodo Motorola CLIQ Review - Summary!
I know you guys don't want to read all that information, so … I did it for you. By reading both of these reviews I am able to determine the Pros and Cons of the phone. Both reviews are very good and I highly recommend you read them if you are more interested about the Motorola CLIQ.
Pros:
- Brand new Android interface from Motorola called Motorola Blur, which is focused on really cool social networking features, and an overall User Friendly(er) Interface. The Social Networking features are great because they WORK! This is by far one of the best Android implementations on the market to date and both Engadget and Gizmodo can not wait until there are new devices with this technology.
- Very nice Keyboard with a great feel and very nice click.
- 5 Megapixel Camera. And most photos look great!
Cons:
- Quoting Engadget about Keyboard "The biggest issue with the CLIQ's keyboard, though, is the placement of the spacebar, Alt, Symbol, Search, and back keys. Unlike the rest of the pad, that bottom row is concave rather than convex, meaning they're essentially buried beneath the edge of the device. We can't count the number of times we hit V instead of the spacebar -- just missing it outright due to its low clearance...he CLIQ also suffers from a spacebar that's no bigger than the special use keys around it."
- There are some issues with the camera focus, however, some firmware updates in the near future will be able to fix that.
- Battery is very typical and barely squeezed in a day. Quoting Engadget "The phone did not "give us a low battery warning," but actually shut down. Kaput."
- Not the best network says Engadget "the CLIQ essentially matched the myTouch and switched from 3G to EDGE (and back) in the same areas"
- Both Gizmodo and Engadget would agree to this quote "As for overall device performance, don't expect miracles."
From what I understand from both reviews, Gizmodo and Engadget would not buy this phone yet! However, when Motorola comes out with a new phone with MotoBLUR and is much faster, they would both agree that this phone is one of the best out there. For right now, in my opinion, I would wait and see what the new one will be. I would also recommend anyone on T-Mobile to try this out, if you need a new phone, look no further! But for those who want to wait ... Who knows? Maybe they'll fix the keyboard.
There you go!
