Video of the Week – Halo: Reach ViDoc: Once More Unto The Breach
This is why I really like the Halo series. Not only is the story very deep and didactic, the people who make it, feel for the game. The difference, I see, between many other gaming companies and Bungie, is the same thing between every other movie company and Pixar. The people behind the game have heart. They make one game at a time, they do it very well, and then they move on. They are very OCD about their games because they care. One can tell from this video that Bungie really took its time to make this game what every video–game enthusiast wants. Not only is the game engine, models, and animations redone, but the story, music, and mood is carefully crafted. These guys deserve a very big thank you for doing what they love, because it makes us love their work.
